About the Workshop
So you think you can’t dance? We invite you to prove yourself wrong!
Dance is transformative. It connects us to ourselves, our bodies, and our unique creative essence. It instills confidence and healing. It fosters connection with others in our communities and across the globe, bridging cultures and generations.
So often, our own limiting beliefs get in our way, preventing us from stepping into the joy of our full aliveness. Whether you love to dance or stand in the back of the room at the party, we invite you to join us for a morning of safe, non-judgemental, and playful movement.
This workshop is designed to build your confidence and equip you with the tools to step onto the dance floor right away.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
- Fundamentals of solo and partner dancing
- Basic rhythms and counting patterns
- Foundational footwork sequences
- Partner connection and etiquette
- Musicality and how to feel the song
No prior experience with dance required. In fact, it’s encouraged!
All ages, bodies, and abilities welcome.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.
