I want to try an idea out!

So you have an idea that you would like to try out in our space? Excellent! We enjoy experimenting with new ideas. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!​

  1. Become a Member to reserve the space/date. Otherwise, it costs $50 - which coincidentally is the same price as a Membership. Hint. Hint. Nudge. Nudge. We WANT you to be a part of the community that you test your event in.

  2. Set a price that makes sense for your event. The minimum price at The Hub is $10. Workshops range depending on the material costs but usually are between $20 and $65. You can use the calculator below to see how we split the revenue.

  3. Select three dates (at a minimum) to run your experiment. We have found that events with a cadence are more successful in Port Angeles. 

​​What you can expect from us:

  • Flexibility and understanding that this is your first time hosting this event.

  • Make us a co-host of your event on Facebook and we will share it on our page.

  • Send us your Instagram post and we will share it with our followers and post it to our website.

  • Create a flyer and we will post it in our window.​

 

What we can expect from you:

  • Flexibility and understanding that it takes time to build a following that attends new events in Port Angeles.

  • Advertising your event, creating a Facebook event, poster, and Instagram post.

  • Arrive at least 30 minutes early to set-up the space. More time if there is extensive set-up.
